Leadership and Vision

Amanda – Owner and Founder

Amanda’s journey in the beauty and wellness industry began in 2001 at Pivot Point Academy in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Her education there ignited a lifelong passion for service and artistry. After opening her first business, Amanda’s Spa and Beauty Services, in 2003, she completed training at the Northern Prairie College of Therapeutic Massage. This dual background in cosmetology and massage therapy shaped her signature approach—holistic, thoughtful, and centered on complete well-being.

In 2007, Amanda partnered with Aveda, becoming an Aveda Concept Spa, and later transitioned to Mira Salon and Spa in 2017. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in empowerment and sustainability. She guides her team to continually learn, refine their craft, and lead with empathy.

Amanda’s vision is simple: to create a space where clients and staff alike feel inspired, supported, and valued. She believes that beauty is not only about transformation but also about connection—the ability to help someone feel more like themselves again.
